Experienced Counseling for Individuals and Couples in Idaho

Support for trauma, addiction, relationships, anxiety, and the challenges life brings.

Something in Life Feels Off

Maybe you have been dealing with something for a while, and it is not getting better. You might feel anxious, stuck in a pattern you cannot seem to change, or dealing with stress in a relationship that is not resolving.

Reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you are used to handling things on your own. But you do not have to keep doing that. Counseling gives you a place to talk things through, understand what is going on, and start finding a way forward that makes sense for you.

What We Help With

We work with a range of issues, and our focus is on helping you to understand what is going on and to find a way forward that actually works.

Trauma

Past experiences can continue to affect how you feel, react, or relate to others. This might show up as anxiety, strong emotional reactions, or patterns that do not seem to change. We help you make sense of what is going on and, when appropriate, use approaches like EMDR to process it so it does not keep showing up the same way.

Addiction

You may be dealing with substance use or compulsive behaviors that are hard to stop, even when you want to. We are usually not the first step in treatment, but we work with people who are ready for ongoing support or who are transitioning out of more intensive care. The focus is on understanding what is driving the behavior and building something more stable going forward.

Sex & Porn Addiction

Sexual behaviors and pornography can become difficult to manage and may begin affecting relationships, daily life, and emotional well-being. Therapy provides a place to better understand what is happening, address underlying issues, and begin making changes that feel more manageable over time

LGBTQ+ Support

Working through identity, relationships, or how you fit within family or community can bring up a lot. There can be tension, uncertainty, or just the need for a place where you do not have to explain yourself. This is a space to talk openly, feel understood, and work through what you are facing.

Sex & Intimacy

Concerns around sex or intimacy can be hard to talk about, even in close relationships. This might involve disconnection, confusion, or feeling out of sync with yourself or your partner. This is a place to talk about it directly, understand what is going on, and work toward something that feels more honest and workable.

Anxiety & Stress

Feeling on edge or stuck in your head can start to take over day-to-day life. It can be hard to slow things down or feel settled. We help you sort out what is going on and find a way to respond that feels more manageable.

Relationships & Couples

Communication can break down or turn into the same arguments over and over. It can feel like you are not getting through to each other or not being heard. The work is in slowing things down, understanding what is happening between you, and finding a more solid way forward.

Depression

Some days feel heavier than they should. It can be hard to find motivation, stay connected, or feel like yourself. The focus is on understanding what is underneath that and finding a way forward that feels realistic.

Life Transitions

Changes in life can throw things off more than expected. This might be a shift in relationships, work, or a different stage of life. It can take time to adjust. We help you sort through what is changing and figure out how to move through it.
